I noticed the little WeatherBug icon in the system tray on our computer flashing at me this afternoon. When I clicked on it I was greeted with eight severe weather alerts for our zip code. It sounds like we're in for rain, rain, rain and a little bit of wind. But, I'm pretty sure that after last year, we're ready for anything. Hopefully I haven't jinxed us now... =)

How did it go? My dad lives in Bremerton and he had some flooding in his basement.
Wow! I see all the flooding on the news. Did you get any?
We lucked out. We live on a hill so that is good news for us when it comes to flooding. But even so, we must have been in the 'sweet spot' because we didn't get much of the bad weather at all. Fingers crossed for the rest of the season!
